Why You Need to Create the Right Mindset
Well it has been a few weeks since my last post, time stops for no one. There is so much that I want to talk about but so little spare time in order to do so. However, as you go through life and experience other peoples lives you start and slowly (very) realize that life ain't so bad after all.
You see, there are always people in worse situations than yourself and when I say people I mean lots and lots of people. We have all moaned and groaned about how unfair life is and why does it always happen to me. Really?
Ok well let's have a closer look at this self pitying mindset. For a start, if you have all of your bodily parts, are of sound mind and in good health then you are one lucky son of a bitch. Do you know how many millions of people would swap places with you in a heartbeat. Anything else good in your life should be classed as a huge bonus. Such as having family and friends whom you see or speak to on a regular basis, or a regular day job in order to be able pay the bills.
Don't believe me??? Then i dare you to go across to Youtube and watch the following video; ' Look at yourself after watching this' about an Australian legend called Nick Vujicic. If this does not make you feel like a self centred pussy and bring a tear to your eye, then best check your pulse. If this can't get you to see that your life is not that bad then there is no hope for you my friend.
This superhuman guy proves that with the right mindset, a person can achieve almost anything they set their mind to. Going into a new business for the first time can be a very scary proposition, which is why most people take the safe option and get a regular job. Then spend most of their life moaning about how their job sucks and how they would love to be their own boss. Sounds familiar right, i should know i have done it for the last 35 years.
Well not anymore. If you are not happy with your life then it is up to you to change it, because nobody else is going to come along and do it for you. In order to change it you need to take action, but before you do it is crucial to create the right mindset, so as to give you the best possible chance of becoming successful.
In order to create the right mindset you have to get rid of all of the baggage that you carry around with you in your sub-concious mind. Believe me we all have some whether we realize it or not. All of our past negative experiences are stored up and are what holds us back from achieving our dreams. If it is a straight choice between starting up a brand new Internet Marketing business from scratch and staying in our day jobs (comfort zone),the safe option will almost certainly win the day. Why? Because you can consciously believe achieving something is possible but if your subconscious thinks it could be emotionally painful if it fails, then it will avoid it to keep you safe.
Have you ever felt a resistance when wanting to try something new and you can't quite put your finger on why? You start and look for reasons why it won't work such as your to tired when you get home from work. Or I've got to walk the dog, or I will start next week or worry about what other people will think if you fail or succeed.
The resistance is your subconscious mind at work, always looking for excuses and always choosing the safest option. It's job is self preservation, to keep you away from harm and destruction.
To get rid of your negative memories you need to rewire your sub-concious so that it sees painful memories as pleasurable ones. The first thing to do is to start and take notice of when you meet resistance in your life. Becoming aware of what is going on in your subconscious is the first step to achieving your dreams, no matter what they happen to be and is known as becoming Consciously Aware. This is the first step in order to give yourself the right mindset in order to achieving success.
Then the second step is to Retrain Your Brain, to see the things that are remembered as painful experiences turn into pleasurable ones, so your subconscious does not fear them. Then the third step is to Let Go Of the Outcome. These are the keys to achieving the right mindset, however they are for another blog.
